Spiritual Counseling
How it works

An hour, arranged simply.

Booking

You sign in with an emailed link, so there's no password to keep. Then you pick up to three times that suit you, shown in your own time zone, and you can add a line about what's on your heart if you'd like the counselor to know before you meet.

Times are offered at least two days ahead, and up to three weeks out. If nothing suits you, come back in a day or two; counselors add hours week by week.

Matching

We don't let you choose a counselor, and counselors don't choose between people. The hour goes to whoever's turn it is in a fair rotation and who is free at one of your times. They have a day and a half to answer. If they pass, or don't answer, it moves quietly to the next person.

If nobody can take your times, we'll tell you and ask you to pick again. You'll never be left wondering.

The session

You both get a confirmation with the time in both your zones and a calendar file. We remind you a day ahead and an hour ahead. You meet in a private video room that exists only for that hour.

Either of you can cancel up until it starts, from the session page or from a link in any of those emails. If your counselor cancels, we look for someone else at the same times.

Afterwards

You'll be asked how it went. Two short questions and, if you want, a comment. Your counselor only ever sees averages, never who said what. If you write down one thing you want to carry from the hour, we email it back to you a week later in your own words.

Your counselor separately writes a private reflection on one principle of their own practice. You never see it and neither does anyone else.
